On Thursday, the Chilean government announced a series of new restrictions due to a COVID-19 cases rise in the country. Chile reached a daily record of 7,830 new cases.

The new measures include more curfew time, border closures and travel restrictions, limitations on individual and collective permits, as well as a modification of the concepts of essential services, reported La Tercera.
