The President of Claro telco in Colombia, Carlos Zenteno, said, in an interview with La República, that internet traffic grew 38% in recent weeks in Colombian houses during isolation measures because of the pandemic.

He highlighted that the networks are prepared to supply that demand but also said that “certainly the behavior has not been that of the maximum speed that we had before the isolation situation”.
