First Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to reach Costa Rica on Wednesday, says President Carlos Alvarado

The first delivery of COVID-19 vaccine doses from Pfizer is expected to arrive in Costa Rica on Wednesday night, with vaccinations set to begin on Thursday, said President Carlos Alvarado during a news conference, as reported by Reuters.

The shots should be allocated first to workers at healthcare centers and elderly care facilities.
