Uber has temporarily launched Uber Flash in some Latin American countries such as Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica. This feature allows costumers to receive or send packages without leaving home, a relevant quality during the isolation period due to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19, according to La República.

With this, Uber expects to help more and more people to remain at home. Uber Flash is available between 6 AM and 11 PM for packages with an adequate size to be carried at the car’s trunk or backseat without blocking the driver’s view.

However, Uber says that the item users send or receive is not insured. Uber is not responsible for damage or loss of the item before, during or after delivery.
