The economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic decreased job offerings on LinkedIn, the American business and employment-oriented service used for professional networking.
Milton Beck, LinkedIn’s CEO of Latin America, told CNN Brazil that usually LinkedIn has almost 200,000 job offers in a three-month average. “In the past weeks, this number decreased 8%, reaching 180,000”, he said.
He also mentioned that Brazil may follow the trend of other countries affected by the pandemic and reduce even more job offerings.
