Mexico surpasses 30,000 deaths from COVID-19

Mexico officially reached 30,000 deaths from COVID-19 on Saturday night. The country’s Ministry of Health reported that there are 252,165 infections and 30,366 deaths caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Mexico’s death toll is the fifth highest in the world, behind the United States (129,646); Brazil (64,365); United Kingdom (44,283) and Italy (34,854).
