More fintechs want to operate credit for small businesses in Brazil

Brazilian fintechs have submitted to the country’s Central Bank a proposal of BRL 5 billion ($940 million) to increase the flow of credit to micro, small and medium-sized companies. They seek to increase the number of fintechs authorized to adopt measures already launched by the monetary authority to free up more resources and minimize the impact of the coronavirus crisis on small businesses.
