A new survey by the startup SumUp, a financial institution focused on small businesses, shows that 57% of the sector has already fully resumed their activities in Brazil, according to Agência Brasil.
The fourth round of the study was carried out between 21 and 24 July, with 4,149 customers of the company, which is one of the main suppliers of POS for micro and small entrepreneurs in Brazil. In a previous survey, in May, the number of businesses in operation was 37%.
More than half (53%) of health services, such as doctors’ offices, dentists, psychologists and veterinarians, also returned to normal operations, according to SumUp.
