The credit-card issuer American Express‘s employees may work from home for the rest of 2020, according to the CEO Steve Squeri.
Bloomberg reported that since the U.S. has started to relax isolation measures due to the COVID-19, American Express wants to be prepared to have 50% of normal staffing at most locations, but Squeri doesn’t expect it “to get anywhere near the 50% mark by the end of 2020,” said the chairman in a video message.
If you can work from home and you do not want to come in, you do not have to come in. In fact, if you can work from home effectively, you should plan on doing so for the rest of the year
