Global death toll from COVID-19 surpasses 2 million

According to the Johns Hopkins University count, the world surpassed this Friday, 15, 2 million deaths by COVID-19. According to the survey, 2.000.905 people died from the SARS-CoV-2 virus and more than 93.500.000 have already been infected.

Brazil is the second country with the highest number of deaths due to COVID-19 (207.095), behind only the United States, which has already lost 390.195 people to the disease.
